Pulling the latest…
You can have the personal data Alongside Events holds about you removed. Email support@alongsidecoffee.com from the address or phone you used, tell us who you are in the list below, and we reply within seven days. We confirm by email when the deletion is complete.
Tell us the event (the couple’s names or the date) and the first name you ordered under, plus the phone number if you gave one. The operator who ran your event is the controller of that data, so we route the request to them and help them complete it: your orders, notes, review, photos, and any phone number or “welcome back” memory tied to it. Phone numbers are removed automatically about a week after every event regardless.
When a cart connects its Instagram account to Alongside Events, direct messages to that account are saved as enquiries in the cart’s inbox. To have yours removed, email us with your Instagram username and the cart you messaged. We delete the saved messages and the identifier that links them to you, and confirm when it is done. Removing the app from your Instagram settings stops any further messages reaching us; it does not by itself delete what was already saved, so send the email too.
Ask the operator you booked, or email us with the event. Your palette, welcome note, story, photos, and drink answers are deleted with the event; the recap page goes dark at the same time.
Close your account from Settings. It deletes your operator profile, every event with its orders, reviews, photos and notes, your client roster, and your connected services’ access tokens. Billing records we are required to keep for tax purposes are retained for the statutory period and nothing more. Backups may hold deleted records for up to 30 days before they are purged.
Only what the law requires (invoices) and what protects other people (an SMS opt-out, so a number that said STOP is never texted again). Everything else goes. The full picture is in our privacy policy.
